Easy Vegan Chocolate Pudding | With cornstarch

This easy vegan chocolate pudding is simple, chocolatey and has the perfect texture. It is one of the easiest chocolate puddings I’ve had and it’s the perfect dessert for any occasion. It’s quick and easy to make and will totally impress anyone!

Easy Vegan Chocolate Pudding

I love chocolate and anything with it. I often crave it after dinner and this pudding really hits the spot. It’s rich, creamy and dense in texture and will satisfy any chocolate craving. It may look fancy but it’s incredibly easy to make and it takes around 10 minutes to prepare.

You can make it in advance and have it ready for when you crave it.

Easy Vegan Chocolate Pudding

This easy vegan chocolate pudding is:

  • Gluten-free

What you need:

  • Cornstarch
  • Cocoa powder
  • Salt
  • Plant milk
  • Maple syrup
  • Vanilla extract

Step by step instructions

1.To a small pot, add cornstarch, cocoa powder and salt

2. Mix well

3. Add milk and maple syrup

4. Stir constantly until it becomes dense

5. Remove from the heat and add vanilla extract.

6. Pour into a pot/glass and refrigerate for 30 minutes

Top with your favourite toppings. I added chocolate chunks and desiccated coconut. Fresh fruit would also work great!

Serving: 2
2 tbsp cornstarch
1 1/2 tbsp cocoa powder
a pinch of salt
1 1/3 cup plant milk
1/4 cup maple syrup (more or less depending on how sweet you like it)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract(optional)

METHOD

Mix cornstarch, cocoa powder and salt in a small pot. Then add milk and maple syrup. Cook on medium heat until it becomes dense, stirring constantly. Remove from the heat and add vanilla extract. Pour into pots/glasses and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Top with cacao nibs, shredded coconut, or fruit! Enjoy!

  2. I came here to check amounts of the ingredients, since I misplaced my copy of Ma’s recipe. But I don’t see *any* quantities listed. Am I just going blind – or nuts – or what?
