What you need:
- Button mushrooms
- Onion
- Garlic
- Olive oil
- Walnuts
- Nutritional yeast or miso paste
Mushroom Walnut Paté Recipe Instructions
Toast 80g walnuts for a few minutes (2/3) in the oven at 180C
In a pan heat up 2 tbsp olive oil, then add 1 chopped onion, 1 minced garlic clove cook on low heat for a few minutes, until the onion is translucent and starting to brown
Clean the mushrooms well with a damp paper towel. Chop them in pieces then add to the pan.
Cook until they change colour and are soft.
Blend mushrooms into ground.
Add mushrooms, walnuts, salt and pepper, 1 tbsp nutritional yeast (or 1 tsp miso) to a blender.
Blend until smooth.
Pour in a small bowl and cover. Let it cool down and enjoy!

- 500 g button mushrooms
- 1 onion chopped
- 1 garlic clove minced
- 80 g walnuts
- salt and pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp nutritional yeast or 1 tsp miso paste
Instructions
- Toast 80g walnuts for a few minutes (2/3) in the oven at 180C.

- Wash and clean 500g of mushrooms well. Chop them in slices then add to the pan. Cook until they change colour and are soft.
- Blend walnuts into ground
- Add mushrooms, walnuts, salt and pepper, 1 tbsp nutritional yeast (or 1 tsp miso) to a blender. Blend until smooth.
- Pour in a small bowl and cover. Let it cool down and enjoy!
