What you need:

  • Button mushrooms
  • Onion
  • Garlic
  • Olive oil
  • Walnuts
  • Nutritional yeast or miso paste

Mushroom Walnut Paté Recipe Instructions

Toast 80g walnuts for a few minutes (2/3) in the oven at 180C

In a pan heat up 2 tbsp olive oil, then add 1 chopped onion, 1 minced garlic clove cook on low heat for a few minutes, until the onion is translucent and starting to brown

Clean the mushrooms well with a damp paper towel. Chop them in pieces then add to the pan.

Cook until they change colour and are soft.

Blend mushrooms into ground.

Add mushrooms, walnuts, salt and pepper, 1 tbsp nutritional yeast (or 1 tsp miso) to a blender.

Blend until smooth.

Pour in a small bowl and cover. Let it cool down and enjoy!

  • 1 onion chopped

  • Pour in a small bowl and cover. Let it cool down and enjoy!
