Crispy Air Fryer Edamame - The Perfect Snack

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup edamame
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • a pinch of garlic power
  • 1/2 tsp crushed nori sheets
  • salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • First thaw the edamame, throw them in a bowl of hot water for a minute or two. Drain and pat them dry. This step is key—wet edamame won’t crisp up as nicely.

  • In a bowl, mix the edamame with sesame oil, garlic powder, sesame seeds, a pinch of salt and crumbled nori. Give them a good toss so everything is evenly coated.

  • Spread them out in the air fryer basket (try not to overcrowd them) and cook at 200°C /400°F for 10 minutes. No need to preheat. Shake the basket halfway through for even crispiness.
  • Let them cool for a minute (they crisp up even more as they sit), then dig in. Just don’t be surprised if you finish the whole batch in one go!
  • If you do not have an air frier you can roast them at 200C/392F for 30/40 minutes until crunchy, Shaking them from time to time!
