Crispy oven baked tahini tofu

Crispy and Easy Tahini Tofu |Oven baked, no marinating

Ingredients
  

  • 1 block of tofu
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch/ plain flour
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Tahini sauce

  • 2 tbsp tahini
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp fresh ginger
  • 1 tsp siracha/hot sauce
  • 1 tsp maple syrup/other liquid sweetener
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp water to thin

Instructions
 

  • Mix cornstarch, smoked paprika, salt and pepper then coat cubed tofu in the mixture. Place on a baking tray with baking paper and cook at 200C for 15 minutes. Make the sauce by combining all ingredients. Take the tofu out of the oven and coat it in the sauce, keeping some for later. Put back in the oven for 5/10 minutes. Serve and top with more of the sauce and sesame seeds.
